Not only does Leadville have a sweet trail running race, they also put on a great Mountain bike 50 miler race. Approximately 14,000 elevation gain. This is going to be one beautiful race up in the rocky mountains. Leadville Colorado is the highest incorporated city and the second highest incorporated municipality in the United States.
Remember to bring your climbing gears, this is not an entry level race. You going to be climbing a lot at high altitude. You should be consistently training at a higher elevation before entering the competition.
If you are prepared for this race you will get the opportunity to take in some of the most gorgeous scenery in Colorado and have one amazing workout at the same time.
